7 Cannabis Infused Makeup Products You Need To Try, Like, Right Now.

On October 17, Canadian history was made when cannabis prohibition finally came to an end in Canada. Because of this, more and more Canadians from coast to coast, have begun to (legally) light up than ever before.

And while smoking weed has been a popular past time for Canadians since even before our parents were into it, there has recently been a cannabis-infused renaissance in the beauty world and brands can’t seem to get enough of the hot trend.

While marijuana legalization is still a hot topic in our fair country, cannabis has become increasingly integrated into beauty from broad personal care products to cannabis-based beauty lines for months.

So, what does this mean for your beauty routine? Cannabidiol, aka CBD, is derived from the hemp plant, which is the cousin of our girl Mary Jane. CBD is known for boasting a number of skin benefits thanks to it being rich in fatty acids and natural emollients that can help hydrate and smooth the skin. The only thing it won’t do, unfortunately, is get you high.

But don’t let this steer you away from trying CBD or hemp infused beauty products. These products actually give you the opportunity to experience the benefits of the plant without the drug-like effects.

Whether you’re an avid Seth Rogen-style smoker, you’re new to the game, or heck, you’ve never lit up in your life (there’s no judgement here at #TeamE7), you need to introduce cannabis-infused makeup products into your beauty regiment.

Still need convincing? These are our seven favourite cannabis-infused makeup products to check out ASAP.

Milk Makeup Kush High Volume Mascara

Born in the coolest studio in LA, Milk Makeup is known for offering, unisex packaging and an edgy campaign quickly won over its worldwide Sephora clientele. Since launching in Canada a year ago, Milk Makeup has launched product after product that continues to sell out. The newest on the list? It’s Kush High Volume Mascara, which is infused with conditioning hemp-derived cannabis oil that fuses mascara fibres to your natural lashes for ultimate thickness without the lash fallout. The hydrating formula also fills the hollow fibres of your ashes for a double dose of volume… meaning you’re getting false-lash action naturally without the hassle of putting on fake lashes.

Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel

Another Milk Makeup favourite is the Kush Fibre Brow Gel that’s not only tinted, it also thickens your brows by adhering to your skin and hair for long-lasting fullness, shape, and definition… uh, what woman wouldn’t want that?! Infused with hemp-derived cannabis oil and flexible gel, this brow gel is flexible enough to create a cream formula that fuses heart-shape fibres to your brows for sexy, thick brows without flaking. Like a conditioning hair mask for your brows, the nourishing cannabis oil conditions, sets, and won’t cause stiffness… giving you Kardashian-worthy brows in seconds!

Vertly Hemp Infused Lip Balm
