As a big fan of the Casamigos Tequila brand and product, I was honoured to be one of the first to try the new Anejo that is launching in Canada this year. This lovely, dark and sweet tequila is definitely something you’ll want to look out for, is guaranteed to delight the tastebuds of any fellow whisky lovers out there. With strong notes of vanilla and caramel, the Anejo is a great accompaniment to any dessert, or on its own at the end of a meal – or night!
Until Casamigos’ Anejo tequila is available readily available for everyone to try, I thought it only made sense to share a delicious winter cocktail that will warm you right up and make you forget the frigid temperatures outside. This Mexican Hot Chocolate cocktail recipe, does, of course, include another of Casamigos‘ fine tequila products, the Casamigos Reposado Tequila, which you can find now at select liquor stores.
See below for how to make this rich, indulgent and spicy cocktail on a cold night!
