With naturally wild, wavy and unruly hair, I’m no stranger to #BadHairDays which is a key reason why I’m a salon regular and get fresh blowouts to help tame my tresses. When my hair looks great it gives me an instant confidence boost, and I know I’m not alone here; in fact a 10-country survey done by the Dove Self-Esteem Project found that 2/3 of women actually withdraw from normal daily activity when they are feeling down about their looks.
While I do wish that no woman (including myself) would ever have to deal with feeling bummed out about themselves because of their looks, I am excited to know that companies are listening to women, and trying to help do something to help make a positive change in how we feel.
This summer, Canadian hair and beauty company, Chatters Salon, is hitting the road in a big pink bus for their Cross-Canada Style Happy Tour. To help Canadian women feel their best and battle any #BadHairDays, Chatters Salon is taking charge and inviting women to take a seat inside their mobile salon for a free consultation and simple style update in major Canadian cities during the month of June.
If you’re in Toronto or the GTA, don’t miss the Style Happy Bus on June 23rd at Square One (at entrance 4) in Mississauga from 2 to 5pm, and at Wellington & Blue Jays Way in Toronto on June 24th from 1:30 to 3:30pm!
If you are not in Toronto or the GTA don’t fret, because the Chatters Salon Style Happy Bus is continuing on to visit more Canadian cities and show women what a positive impact feeling good about their hair can have on their lives. For more information on where the bus has been and where it’s going this month, see below for all of the #StyleHappy Tour dates:
The Tour is making stops in Vancouver (June 7th), Kelowna (June 8th) Calgary (June 10th), Edmonton (June 12th) Regina (June 16th) Winnipeg (June 18th), Toronto (June 23 & 24th), London (June 26th) and Ottawa (June 28th and 29th).
