goop g.tox himilayan salt scalp scrub

Sharing my love for all things Gwyneth Paltrow and goop is often met with exaggerated eye-rolls but I don’t care what the haters have to say; I’ve been a fan for a long time and know that everything GP approves is GOOD. I was so thrilled to receive their latest product lineup to try out and I’m now totally obsessed with the G.Tox Himalayan Salt Scrub Shampoo. Perhaps it has something to do with my recent interest in integrating more Himalayan Salt into my daily routine (for example, mixing it into a glass of water every morning) but this unique whipped shampoo was quick to catch my eye. I love that it exfoliates your scalp while nourishing your hair with natural oils and smells absolutely incredible thanks to its mix of rosemary, geranium, orange and peppermint.” – @GracieCarroll

jamie oliver jamie cooks italy edit seven toronto

“Some people collect jewelry, other’s might be into rocks and dainty tea cups but I collect cookbooks and more specifically, Jamie Oliver’s cookbooks. Whenever Jamie releases a new book, regardless of what the topic is be it 15 Minute Meals or his Christmas classics, I have to have it, like ASAP. Just recently Jamie released a new book all about Italian food called Jamie Cooks Italy and of course, I got my paws on it right away. This new book is different from the others because while there are recipes from Jamie himself (duh!), it also includes regional recipes taught to Jamie by beautiful Italian Nona’s. Jamie Cooks Italy is so heartwarming as these Nona’s are so pleased to have their family recipes being shown and shared all over the world!”@BlairAlex

saint laurent lou lou heart shaped sunglasses

These Saint Laurent Lou Lou heart-shaped glasses are a continuation of last summers popular heart frame glasses. I had a pink pair in the summer, and while they were suuuper cute I couldn’t help feel they were a little too Coachella for everyday wear. The Saint Laurent remake in tortoise shell makes them perfectly appropriate for any look. The heart shape lens says “I’m fun!” While the pattern says, “I’m also a grown up.”’ – @ShaeleighAfton

detox mode all together oil

“This new, Altogether Oil from The Detox Market’s new in-house line Detox Mode is saving my skin this season. Once the fall hits, and humidity in the air drops, my face and scalp get super flaky and I’m really prone to dry skin. I’ve been rubbing this oil — made with jojoba, macadamia nut and grape seed oil — all over my scalp before shampooing, and it’s worked wonders! That’s not to say you can’t use it on your face or any other dry patches on your body. Best beauty hack ever!” – @Xtina_Gonzales

storm crow manor toronto

“If I could try to sum Storm Crow Manor up, as best as possible – it would be: one-part Snakes & Lattes mixed in with one-part sci-fi inspired Shameful Tiki Room. The bar is housed in an old Victorian home, which adds to the vibe of the place. There are different rooms inspired by The Shining and Twins Peak. Plus you can do shots called “Brian Fluid” and order Star-Wars inspired bowls (which plays the Imperial March). PLUS: they have food! So yeah, it is kind of the best (and most interesting) place ever. I honestly cannot wait to go there during Pride.” @Ama_Scriver

Tonica Kombucha Super drinks

“As a nutritionist, I’m always looking for new and exciting healthy products to recommend to my clients (but also to enjoy myself, because I’m only human). Recently, I stumbled across quite the gem that mixes gut-loving support with some serious deliciousness! If you’re familiar with the fermented tea beverage called Kombucha, you’ll love what Tonica is doing to change up the game! Packed with probiotics, and hand-crafted with all natural, certified organic ingredients, they’ve just come out with a line of Supertonics, which combines superfoods and Kombucha into one tasty drink. With flavours like Goji Grapefruit and Turmeric Lime, you’re in for a real treat. If you haven’t tried these yet, be sure to pick one up – your gut (and tastebuds) will thank you!” – @CatherinesCabinet

paula's choice omega serum

I’ve been a long time Paula’s Choice addict and this new Resist Omega + Complex Serum really helps keep my scaly dry skin in better condition during our dry and moisture sucking winter. I layer it over a toner and under a moisturizer with SPF.”@Mondays_Child_
