edit seven editors picks sackville & co grinder

(Sackville & Co. Grinder, $35)

“With cannabis legalization in Canada coming up on October 17th, I obviously had to highlight something that could help you get, well, high. Long gone are the days of stoner stereotypes, cannabis culture is having a moment and it’s sexier than ever. Here at Edit Seven we’re all for the rise of women in cannabis, and the femme focused brands many of them are creating. One to know is Toronto-based brand, Sackville & Co; I’m obsessed with their instagram as much as their products, like this gorgeous 4-tier Gold Grinder!” – @GracieCarroll

edit seven editors picks ohii beauty urban outfitters

(Ohii Beauty, avail at Urban Outfitters)

“I don’t know what it is but if a beauty product has chic, minimal packaging (and it’s affordable), I instantly have to get my paws on it. This is exactly what happened when I popped into Urban Outfitters and discovered Ohii Beauty, UO’s newest beauty venture. The 13-piece line consists of face masks, cream highlighters, liquid lipsticks, and more with prices ranging from just $10 to $30 (so your wallet won’t get angry AF!) I picked up their super gorg Treasure Shadow palette and I’m in luvvv so if you’re looking to treat yo’self to some fun makeup this month, you need to say oh hiiii to Ohii!” – @BlairAlex

edit seven editors picks busy phillipps this will only hurt a little

(This Will Only Hurt A Little by Busy Philipps, $35)

“My friends over at Simon & Schuster Canada sent me an advanced copy of Busy Phillips memoir This Will Only Hurt a Little, out Oct 23rd. I fell in love with Busy in a can-you-be-my-best-friend-please-and-thanks way when I, like the rest of the world, started watching her Instagram stories (if you don’t follow her already, do yourself a favour and click that follow button.) I expected her book to be a playful tale about her acting career, the kooky situations she gets into with her daughters Birdie and Cricket, and def thought I’d be laughing throughout it. But my expectations were so very off. Her book talks about being raped before she lost her virginity, how she planned on leaving her husband and some insight into their marital problems, mental health issues and admitting that for a while when she was touted as the “queen of Instagram,” and being “real/authentic/raw,” she was anything but. I read this book in one sitting. Sure I loved the juice about Katie Holmes being and acting so above the rest of the Dawson’s Creek cast, and her bashing of James Franco and how he really is, and even some of the insight into Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams, before Heath passed. But more so I was so moved by reading words written by a celeb who really invited me in and trusted me with her story.” – @Jen_Kirsch

it cosmetics bye bye under eye concealer edit seven editors picks october

(IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye, $35)

“After trying what feels like every under eye concealer ever made, my friend introduced me to IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye and I absolutely love it. I have naturally deep set eyes, and when I don’t get enough sleep (often) I tend to get pretty dark under eye circles. IT concealer is super easy to apply (I use my finger), and thick enough that it fully covers all of the darkness you want erased. Plus, it lasts the entire day! I love that this concealer comes in a ton of different shades and they even expanded the shade range even more and it’s great for all types of skin. I promise you’ll love it if you give it a try. I give this product a 12 out of 10!” – @MegaNager

(Back-Drape Wool Cardigan, $135 – Slim Striped Pyjama Trousers, $59)

“This fall I’m incorporating more good quality and natural fabrics like cashmere, wool, and cotton into my wardrobe. I’m absolutely obsessed with COS and their Essentials line is super simple & chic and has all the foundational pieces of a modern wardrobe. This wool cardigan, relaxed yet chic paired with these classic striped pyjama trousers make me wanna lounge by the fire with a hot Toddy and wool blanket all day!” – @NinaGilmour

well told health edit seven editors picks october

(Well Told Health Boosters, $34)

“I recently discovered – and fell in love with, Well Told Health Botanicals, which are organic, vegan supplements with no synthetics. For coffee addicts (like myself), the Energy supplement is basically a Goddess-send. It relies on superfoods and adaptogens like beets, maca, and rhodiola to give a sustainable energy boost. It’s also made in Toronto!” – @Kait_Fowlie

hoame toronto editors picks october

(Hoame Salt Cave)

“I recently checked out the brand new meditation space called HOAME located in downtown Toronto and immediately fell in love. It was such a beautiful space, they offer numerous meditation classes in either a dark or light room that will have you feeling oh so peaceful. Plus there is a gorgeous salt cave to relax in. I left feeling happy and uplifted, I highly recommend it!” – @CoryLeeMusic

Happy October!
