While still in search of that magical little pill that will make you more beautiful, I’ve settled on the next best (or maybe ever better?) thing: a beautifying powder. I’m a strong believer in taking care of your body from the inside out for the best beauty benefits—especially for your skin, eyes and hair—which is exactly why I was instantly attracted to Aura Inner Beauty and their commitment to ‘nourishing your beauty from within’. This new Canadian company has recently launched Canada’s first ingestible beauty powder that’s plant-based and formulated with prebiotics and probiotics. With beautifying ingredients like rosehip and green tea extract, dulse powder and burdock root, all you’ve gotta do is mix a teaspoon of Aura into a glass of water or your favourite nut milk to enjoy the benefits for everything from your gut flora to skin.” – @GracieCarroll

“As a self-admitted food nerd, I totally geek out whenever I get the chance to check out professional kitchens. At a recent tour of Liberty Village’s newest spot, Brodflour, I did just that and honestly my excitement level was through the roof.  In case you’re unfamiliar, Brodflour is an urban mill where they not only bake their own bread in-house but they mill their own flour on site as well. Inspired by Scandinavian bread baking, the folks at Brodflour use only the freshest grains that produce literally the best bread I’ve ever had. In addition to their showstopper loaves, you need to taste their Cardamom Buns that will blow your mind. Soft and doughy and perfectly sweetened, these buns, and Brodflour, are what dreams are made of!” – @BlairAlex

It’s so cold outside, that the idea of snuggling up on the couch with a blanket and a book (and a hot chocolate too!) seems like the perfect way to make the most of this frigid winter. I LOVED reading Educated by Tara Westover. It’s a memoir written by a woman who tells true tales of her Mormon childhood living partially off the grid and avoiding the “Illuminati” under the orders of her father. This book will leave you stunned, shocked and at times tearful. There were many points I paused reading so I could look up her siblings on Facebook to see where they are now. Seriously – this is an intriguing book.” – @CaitlinAlison

glossier play glitter gelee edit seven editors picks

“I have been searching for a great eye gloss FOREVER and most are not glossy enough or have no staying power. Thanks to the launch of Glossier’s new line, Glossier Play, I’ve finally found the perfect match. Their Glitter Gelée is a one step glitter gel that you can apply to your eyelids for a glossy effect. They come in 4 different shades, but my personal favourite is the Phantas which is opalescent with holographic specks. The Glitter Gelée is perfect for a fresh beauty look this spring and summer, plus  it’s super easy to apply.” – @Christina.Plz

Tiny Spark by Jessica Lanyadoo editors picks editseven

My favourite app right now is Tiny Spark by Jessica Lanyadoo. It’s an app for actually helping you clear mental clutter and drop into your inner knowing. You hold a question in your mind and then tap the screen for an answer. I love Jessica Lanyadoo and everything she does, so if you’re into astrology, definitely check her out! She puts a lot of super solid, free content into the world.” @Kait_Fowlie

I’m really excited that western wear is here to stay. I love that this trend is super boho and playful and will look great styled with denim outfits and girly dresses, which are my go-to looks when the warmer weather rolls around. Plus, the looped handle on this Trademark bag is also really in style right now, so you get double the style points with this piece.” – @AinsleySmithy

verdievie edit seven march editors picks

I am a sucker for good design, which is why I love VerdeVie – the cannabis lifestyle accessories brand dedicated specifically for women. Ahead of International Women’s Day, the brand decided to pair up with popular underground Japanese artist ‘Moon Bacon’ to create a collection of distinct products that reflects Moon Bacon’s iconic imagery through VerdeVie’s signature lens. The tray makes a perfect addition to any weed smokers collection and the lighter is simply iconic. You can shop the limited collection via the VerdeVie website here!” – @AmaScriver

Happy March!
