#EditorPicks: What’s On Our Musts List For December

By Edit Seven

Normally we’d be freaking out that the year is almost over but for 2020, we’ll make an exception. Most years tend to fly by but this year seemed to last what feels like 5 and we’re very glad to it to get the eff out of here. As always, with a new month comes a brand new round of #EditorPicks from #Team E7 and even though the holidays are different this year, what hasn’t changed is our team bringing you the coolest picks every month.

Here’s what we’re loving for December!

Gracie Carroll, Editor-in-Chief

“Good snacks are life. Always. But, especially when you’re busy AF trying to keep up with life. I have recently discovered a scrumptious new locally made and packaged snack brand called Localle that’s from right here in Toronto. As many people may already know, I’m a sucker for great packaging, but the packaging means nothing if the product is crap. Localle lives up to its pretty exterior with global-inspired clusters that are made from flavourful superfood ingredients like maca. ginger, hemp, pistachio and tart cherry. Everyone in my household is now obsessed!  If you’re interested in getting your hands on some, they offer free (and fast) shipping via their website Localle.com ?” – @GracieCarroll

Nail salons are amongst the businesses that have had to close due to lockdown 2.0 but thankfully, you don’t have to go without a fab mani. The team at Tips Nail Bar has been working tirelessly to still give clients some semblance of normalcy thanks to their Press Refresh press-on nails. Each set is made to order and is hand-painted by Tips’ talented team. Whether you want a holiday-esque manicure, solid colour, or funky nail art, there’s a set just for you!” – @BlairAlex

Kait Fowlie, Contributing Editor

“I am obsessed with all things Foursigmatic (and adaptogens in general), and this chocolate bar has found me just in time for the holidays! Yay! It’s got 780 MG of functional shrooms per bar, so… I can alternate between Cadbury and this more healthful option because — balance.” – @KaitFowlie

Cory Lee, Contributing Editor

“Made and designed in Toronto, Achemode.com has burst onto the scene and I am obsessed!! She hand makes everything and looks super high end. I am lusting after all the jackets and this varsity jacket is a must-have for $175!!” – @CoryLeeMusic

Carmela Valencia, Contributing Editor

“I’m a bookworm, and I always find myself reaching for a light read during the holidays. Josie Silver’s novel is one to reach during this time because it has kind of an unrequited love, rom-com-esque vibe to it. And, since I’m fond of movies, like Bridget Jones’ Diary and Love, Rosie, this book is definitely up my alley. I would say that the reason I picked this up is because it’s in Reese Witherspoon’s book club recommendations, and there’s a good reason why! Just like you binge-watch a series, you can read this in one sitting, but I’ll definitely be stretching this throughout December!” – @TheyCallMeIan

Jordana Colomby, Contributing Editor

“From the moment I stumbled upon Alder Apparel, I’ve been excited about their mission and their clothing! An outdoor apparel brand made for women by women, Alder proves that looking good and getting outside doesn’t have to be polar opposites. Even though we’re into the snowy months, I’m currently obsessed with the Take a Hike shorts with right (yes eight!) pockets.” – @JordanaColomby

Sarah Dziedzic, Contributing Editor

“Happy Capricorn season to all my beautiful, kind, slightly workaholic zodiac sisters and brothers. If you need to add a gift option to your holiday shopping spreadsheet (don’t lie, I know you made one) consider this gorgeous polished zodiac constellation pendant by Abbey Park Jewelry. Available on Etsy and handmade to order, you can choose your material, chain length, sign, and personalize it with an engraved name, date or message on the back. Editor-approved and Capricorn certified.” –@SarahDzdzc
