As if we needed another reason to be completely Gucci obsessed right now, the fashion house’s first fragrance, Gucci Bloom is FINALLY here and the campaign is absolutely to die for. Not only does it feature actress Dakota Johnson and model Hari Nef surrounded by a stunning floral garden set in the middle of Times Square, but this campaign also stars none other than Toronto’s very own Petra Collins.
Although now based in New York City, the 24-year-old artist, photographer, and now Gucci muse has had her work published everywhere from Vogue to i-D Magazine, and remains the resident photographer for Rookie Magazine. Collins is also a gifted director of short films and has directed music videos for Selena Gomez, Lil Yachty and Carly Rae Jepson, all while being labeled an official ‘It Girl’ by both Vanity Fair and The New Yorker. Not bad, eh?

The new Gucci Bloom fragrance is the first by creative director, Alessandro Michele and with floral notes like jasmine and tuberose, we know it won’t be the last. Michele said it took him two years to “give Gucci a smell,” and we couldn’t be more excited to try it!
The campaign, shot by Gucci fave Glen Luchford, is super dreamy and showcases the trio standing serenely in a lush garden wearing head-to-toe Gucci florals, complete with millennial pink flowers (of course). This whimsical and breezy campaign is a true breath of fresh air and we just can’t get enough of it.
