Is it just me or is this summer heat making it nearly impossible to want to consume anything other than a cold and refreshing smoothie? Since I’ve got smoothies on the brain 24-7 these days, Kimberly Snyder‘s latest recipe for a Zingy Ginger Mango Smoothie immediately caught my attention.
This smoothie recipe also includes one of my favourite snacks at the moment: mangos! Especially when frozen. According to Kimberly, one cup of mango will provide you with 35% of the daily recommendation for vitamin A. Mangos also contain no cholesterol, sodium or fat and are only 100 per cup.

Zingy Ginger Mango Smoothie Recipe
What You Need:
- 1 cup of coconut water
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and chopped
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 lime, peeled
- ½ inch fresh ginger, chopped
What To Do:
1. Gather all your smoothie ingredients. Blend coconut water, mango, banana, lime and ginger until smooth.
2. Pour in your favourite glass and enjoy!
