Even as a major wine lover, creating wine cocktails wasn’t something I’d ever considered until Kim Crawford introduced me to their incredibly delicious (and super easy to make) Grapefruit Granita recipe that’s made with Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Since that citrus-filled icy cool cocktail is better suited to the summer months (at least here in Canada), I’m excited to share another wine cocktail recipe from Kim Crawford that’s perfect for the holiday season and includes their incredibly delicious Pinot Noir. Keep reading for how to make their Spiced Moon Martini recipe!
Spiced Moon Martini
Spiced Honey Syrup
What You need:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup honey
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 6 cloves
What To Do:
Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until warm and fragrant. Avoid overcooking as the syrup should not reduce and thicken.
Remove from heat: strain and discard solids.
The syrup can be refrigerated for up to two weeks but should be rewarmed to create the cocktail.
Spiced Moon Martini
