There’s no doubt about it, working as a blogger here in Toronto gives me access to some of the city’s coolest, hottest and most exclusive events. I consider myself extremely lucky to experience so many of the incredible things that I do, and often I find myself in total “pinch me” moments.
Most recently, that moment occurred at the end of 2016 when I found myself seated for dinner on the iconic stage of Roy Thompson Hall, facing a symphony orchestra. I was there thanks to a golden ticket that let me take part in the first-ever Mastercard Priceless Table called the Symphony of Flavour. Through a unique collaboration between one of my favourite chefs in Toronto, Chef Cory Vitiello, and conductor Earl Lee, each dish served during the eight course meal was composed with a piece of music in mind to give the exclusive and intimate group of guests a unique and immersive dining experience that was truly, well, priceless.
A view of the stage complete with table settings and musicians.
One of Chef Cory Vitiello’s many amazing creations.
A huge thank you to the Mastercard Canada team for inviting me to this incredible night. I’ll never forget it!
