One of the major trends that’s emerged on runways this season is denim on denim and let’s be honest — we’re in LOVE! This easy, breezy trend is not only super chic but seriously effortless to pull off. Gone are the days of the simple (and still loved!) Canadian Tuxedo but say hello to reinvented denim x denim. We love seeing denim jumpsuits, denim skirt suits and even denim trench coats! See below for our round-up of 7 ways to wear denim on denim like a boss:
If anyone can pull of a denim all in one, hands down it’s Bella Hadid with her endless legs and supermodel strut. Elongating her #goals gams even further are a pair of black pointy toe booties that are a staple in our closets. Snaps for Bella!
Speaking of closet staples, another major necessity in ours is a classic chambray shirt and when paired with ever-so-chic denim culottes and lace up wedges, you can’t go wrong! We love this look because not only fashion forward but it’s so effortless too,
Taking the denim jacket to another level is Gilda Ambrosio and we couldn’t applaud her more for this simple yet #goals outfit. Not only is the boxy denim jacket so on trend, but we are LIVING for the pop of colour with these hot pink booties too!
Did we mention we have a love for chambray?! This chambray blazer is what our denim dreams are made of – definitely perf for SS18. Complete the look with a pair of fringe jeans that are all the rage right now + classic Ray-Bans and lace up heels and you’re good to go!
Hear us out – this is not your old school skirt suit and thank goodness because we’re pleasantly surprised to find ourselves really feeling this look. Dark denim is a major trend we’ve seen on runways and paired with these statement white boots, you’re sure to be a stand out on the streets.
Giving us all the #streetstyle feels is fashion’s newest it-girl, Kaia Gerber and she’s giving us some serious outfit envy. We’re finding ourselves with the urge to get scissor happy with our tank tops, denim jackets and daisy dukes.
Where have denim trench coats been hiding?! We had no idea they were missing from our lives and we NEED one ASAP! This look on Margaret Zhang is everything a street style look should be – effortless and fashion forward.
