It’s another busy weekend here in Toronto (although, isn’t always in the summer?) and whether you’re feeling hungry, ready to party or ready to shop, we’ve got you covered with this weekend’s musts.
What To Do:
TUF: the first Toronto Urban Fashion event is happening today from 2pm to 10pm at Ollie Quinn’s Project 1664 space located at 45 Ossington. Don’t miss your chance to experience something new, and something that offers ‘an alternative to commercial fashion in the city’. Know what that means? You’ll be able to drop by for a good time and the chance to shop from some of the city’s most exciting underground and undiscovered brands. Click HERE for more info and your free tickets!
#92PointWhisky Pop-Up: Are you a fan of whisky? What about free whisky? Well, who isn’t? Make your way to 1030 Queen Street West between 7-10pm today (perhaps on your way to TUF?) to check out the #92PointWhisky pop-up where you’ll be treated to a few free glasses of whisky, along with free eats from the food truck on site. Trust us, it’s worth a visit and you can totally bring all of your friends.
Taco Fest Toronto: Taco Fest returns to Ontario Place this weekend, giving you the chance to indulge in all the tacos and tequila your heart desires for two days straight. With a vendor lineup that includes everyone from Fidel Gastro’s to Fonda Lola, this is one taco event you won’t want to miss. Click HERE for more info and tickets!
What To Shop:
Fortnight x Misfit: Two of our local favourites, Fortnight Lingerie and Misfit Studio have teamed up to create and launch a new collection of lingerie-inspired dance pieces that will keep up with your movements, whether you’re in a dance class or dance party. You can shop the collection at Misfit Studio locations or online HERE.
Unika Swim Flagship: If you caught our recent post on the super chic Canadian swimwear brands you need to know about, you’ll already know about Unika Swim. If you’re in the market for a new swimsuit, especially one that’s made in Canada, be sure to check out their new flagship location in Yorkville Village.
Where To Eat:
Impact Kitchen on Adelaide: Impact Kitchen‘s east side location gets regular visits from #TeamE7 when we’re seeking healthy eats and a great place to work from. They’ve just expanded over to the west side of the city to open their second location on the corner of Adelaide and Brant and we couldn’t be more excited about it! It’s bright, it’s spacious, the food is still delicious and they just launched a new juice menu.
What To Try:
Yoga @ Yonge & Dundas: Been on the hunt for free yoga classes or outdoor yoga classes in Toronto? Well, now you’ve got both thanks to Yonge-Dundas Square! As of this Monday June 18th, the public square will be kicking off free yoga classes every Monday from 12-1pm until September 3rd. Hosted in collaboration with lululemon these classes are not only free, but open to everyone of all ages and levels. For more information, please click HERE.
