The May 2-4 Long Weekend is here, and just like every weekend, we’re here to help you out with a list to inspire everything for where you shop to what you eat. Keep reading for this weekend’s musts!
What To Do:
If you’ve passed by Nathan Phillips Square over the past couple of days, you may have noticed the commotion that has taken over Toronto’s City Hall. Since Thursday, the first edition of URBANI_T has invaded the space with an impressive array of live music, art installations, fashion talks, design workshops and more. Ending on Saturday May 19th, don’t miss your chance to check out this exciting new festival that celebrates Canadian fashion and art.
Where To Go:
If your weekend plans include hitting the mall, and Scarborough Town Centre in particular, stop by Garnier’s Whole Blends pop-up space that promises to be “high instagrammable”. Aside from doing it for the ‘gram, you’ll be able to experience their braids bar, custom product labels for your very own bottle of Whole Blends, a swing corner, and refreshing natural beverages. Garnier’s Whole Blends pop-up will be open during shopping hours on Saturday and Sunday.
What To Try:
It’s not secret that #TeamE7 is totally obsessed with boing at BOLO in Toronto (remember when we hosted a private class in support of New Circles?) and if you’ve been meaning to try it, there’s no better time to start than this weekend. Better yet, if there’s a man in your life who you’ve been meaning to introduce to the world of boxing, BOLO is hosting their first ‘Brocamp‘ on Saturday from 12-2pm. Click HERE for more info!
What To Buy:
Have you ever wished for the perfect driving shoe? Maybe even one that you could have custom made just for you? Well, now you’ve got the chance to do just that thanks to a collaboration between Buick Canada and the The Art & Sole Academy. But be quick, there’s only a limited number available. Click HERE for more info.
What To Make:
For any fellow cookbook freaks out there, the new book that everyone is fawning over is ‘Dining In‘ by regular Bon Appetit contributor, Alison Roman. Go ahead and make that purchase, because we can confirm that this book is a must-have for any modern home cook’s book shelf. Not ready to pull the trigger on this one just yet?
