Nut butters are all the rage these days, and while it’s wonderful to enjoy a butter from every nut and seed under the sun, there is truly something to be said for the classic peanut butter (so long as you’re not allergic.) Like hummus, a nut butter is a popular and highly consumed product that is most often store bought, even though it is hella easy to make at home. So long as you have a great blender to help you that is (same case for said hummus) which is why this recipe comes from our friends at Ninja Kitchen. This homemade peanut butter recipe is made with a just a few simple ingredients that you likely already have hiding in your kitchen cupboards, yay!

Makes: 10 servings
Program: Chop & Manual Blend
What You Need:
- 500g unsalted roasted peanuts
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp salt
What To Do:
Add the peanuts to the blender jug and secure the lid.
Select MANUAL-BLEND-LOW if using a Ninja blender and blitz for a minute at a time until the peanuts have all broken down into a fine powder.
Add the oil, honey and salt and blend again on low for another 10 seconds.
The peanut butter will keep in a sealed jar for 2-3 weeks. It can also be frozen into small portions.
