The weekend is here, and if you’re anything like me, some of your favourite past times when you’ve got time off include indulging in a little too much coffee, puttering about and relaxing at home. When my schedule allows it (which is usually only on the weekends, if I’m lucky), I love taking some extra time to make a “fancy” coffee that feels like more of a treat than my daily cuppa joe. But don’t fret, the recipe I’m sharing with you today doesn’t involve intimidating foam art or extravagant machinery, it’s a simple recipe that will elevate your regular coffee, and is actually super quick to make.

This recipe for a Toasted Coconut Cold Brew Coffee recipe comes from my friends at KitchenAid who created this tasty concoction to highlight their new (and very cute) KitchenAid Cold Brew Coffee Maker. Now, this is when you might be thinking: “Wait, I thought she said no extravagant machinery was required!?” and I still stand by what I said. Technically, to make cold brew coffee at home, you don’t need much beyond some ground coffee, cheese cloth and a mason jar, but, any kitchen tool nerd like me will easily be drooling over KitchenAid’s Cold Brew Coffee Maker that not only fits easily into any fridge, but is portable too!
