Friendsgiving Cocktail Recipe Bacardi Thanksgiving Cocktail

Move aside PSL, Canadian Thanksgiving weekend is here and it’s time to replace that pumpkin-spiced latte with a pumpkin-spiced cocktail instead. On this weekend of giving Thanks, who would blame you for indulging in all pumpkin everything? We’re pretty sure that answer is no-one. Because, if you’re a true Canadian, you know that pumpkin everything is the absolute best, especially at this time of year.

Getting a pumpkin cocktail right, however, ain’t easy. And we’re not about giving up a solid craft cocktail for something that might have tickled our fancy during our younger, less experienced years of cocktail slinging.

This weekend, we’re sharing the Friendsgiving Cocktail recipe by Bacardi, because if you’re looking for one helluva beautiful pumpkin-infused Thanksgiving cocktail recipe, this is the one you want. Not only does this easy-to-make craft cocktail include real pumpkin, it’s made with the recently launched Bacardi Anejo 4 Year Old (from their new range of premium rum) to help you take this drink to the next level and truly impress your guests. Keep reading for how to make it:

The Friendsgiving Cocktail

What You Need:

2 oz.’s Bacardi Cuatro

1 oz. apple cider (unfiltered juice)

.75 oz.’s lemon juice

.5 oz.’s honey

1 table spoon pumpkin puree

Garnish with cinnamon sticks and apple slices

Pro tip – Mix all the liquid with the honey and pumpkin puree before adding any ice because the ice will cause the honey to clump up.

What To Do:

In a large rocks glass, add the Bacardi Cuatro, apple cider, lemon juice, honey and pumpkin puree. Mix all of the ingredients together evenly with a spoon. Fill the glass with ice and garnish before serving.

Have a good time and drink responsibly.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
