We know what you’re thinking, Fashion Week isn’t exactly new to Toronto, but ever since IMG Canada pulled the plug on Toronto Fashion Week (due to lack of funding) back in 2016, things have been a little, well, up in the air. For those of you who might not know, fashion week has been on a roller coaster ride with title sponsors like MasterCard, L’Oreal Paris and LG Electronics coming and going for over a decade now.
The future of Toronto Fashion Week wasn’t looking all too bright when IMG Canada flew the coop, but the city’s fashion industry has stood strong and now turned things around to have not one, but four distinct fashion weeks to promote our local talent. We know things have been a bit, well, confusing AF so keep reading to get the low-down and all the info you need to keep up with Toronto Fashion Week in 2018!

Toronto Fashion Week (TFW)
Toronto’s OG fashion week, Toronto Fashion Week (TFW) has now been brought back to life (and reimagined) thanks to real estate developer Peter Freed of Freed Developments (kinda random, we know) but it’s still got the same bones. Newly situated in swanky Yorkville Village, last season’s debut of the new TFW featured panel discussions from celebrated designers and fashion industry heavy hitters like Derek Blasberg and Jean-Paul Gaultier. This year, you can expect to see the latest collections from the likes of Andrew Coimbra and Hayley Elsaesser (who happen to be two of our faves) to name a few. Coming at you bi-annually, TFW runs from February 5-7, 2018. For tickets + more info, click HERE!

Targeting the cool kids in #The6ix is RE/SET, also running from February 5-7, 2018, alongside TFW. With more of a street style vibe and a “see now, buy now” designer showroom, it’s clear why folks are saying RE/SET is similar to London’s unique fashion scene. Trust us, you won’t want to miss collections from exciting new brands like S.P Badu and WRKDEPT. For tickets + more info, click HERE!
TOM* (Toronto Men’s Fashion Week)
TO’s premier men’s fashion week, TOM*, is back March 6-11, 2018, and it’s all going down at One Yonge Street — right by the cities beautiful harbour front. While designer’s haven’t yet been announced, we’re expecting another big lineup for men’s fashion, that will *hopefully* include brands like Kollar and Helmer once again! TWFW (Toronto Women’s Fashion Week)
Keeping the fashion train rolling is TWFW, taking place from March 12-17, 2018, at One Yonge Street. This year’s designer line-up has been kept hush-hush so far, but we’ve got high hopes after last year’s runway shows included collections from designers like LAMARQUE and CARAS. HAPPY FASHION WEEK!
