If you’re looking for a delicious way to promote healthy food and food literacy in schools and throughout the community, then FoodShare’s Recipe For Change event is right where you need to be!
FoodShare is a non-profit organization that works with communities and schools to deliver healthy food and food education. With a strong belief that everyone deserves access to affordable yet high-quality fresh food, they have spearheaded innovative programs like the Good Food Box that are volunteer-packed vegetables and fruits of freshest quality that get sent to your own Good Food Box coordinator. FoodShare has not only impacted what kids eat in schools but also drastically improved the way people eat and grow food across Toronto every single day. This isn’t exactly a new endeavour either, their team has been hustlin’ hard since 1985!
On February 22nd 2018, FoodShare‘s 9th annual fundraising event, Recipe for Change will bring 30 of Toronto’s most diverse and eclectic chefs and restaurateurs together to prepare signature dishes at the St. Lawrence Market Temporary North Market. With this year’s lineup of chefs, you seriously can’t miss out. Not only will the FOMO will be real, but you’ll lose out the chance to eat and drink some of the city’s best offerings, all while supporting a great cause.

It’s An Amazing Cause
