My love for the not-for-profit New Circles charity in Toronto has been a strong one for many years now, and there are no signs of the flame dying down. As you may or may not know already, New Circles helps provide clothing to teens, families and refugees in need throughout the GTA. Every spring, the team turns their North York space into a two-day New Circles Prom Boutique where over 500 Toronto teens are invited to pick out their dream prom outfit that they could otherwise not afford.
It has been such a pleasure to work with the team over the years to help spread the word about their amazing Prom Boutique initiative (and help spread the call for donations), and this year I was incredibly flattered to be asked by their team to help host their Breakfast Television spotlight segment yesterday morning on March 1st, 2016.
Once again, Team New Circles needs help from as many people as possible to receive enough donations to make Prom Boutique 2016 the best one yet. There are 8 drop-off locations throughout the GTA, and they need everything from new and lightly used shoes, dresses/clothing, jewellery, accessories and more for both girls and boys. Some of the things they need most are trendier slim-cut suits as well as plus size fashion pieces. In case you happen to be a beauty product hoarder, please note that they also accept brand new products as donations!

For this segment and these photos, I wore a gorgeous red lace dress from Ann Taylor‘s SS16 collection that, with their consent, I was able to donate to the New Circles Prom Boutique after the shoot!
If you have any dressy clothing that you’re able to part with to help these teens look as stylish and awesome as possible for their prom, PLEASE DONATE between now and April 15th, 2016 and stay tuned for some exciting events we have planned in downtown Toronto to help raise money and donations.
Thank you for your help!
