#STYLEBOOK: 7 Belted Coats We Want To Wear This Season

By Blair Stutz

Coat season is here and we couldn’t be more excited. A coat or jacket gives you more ways to add style to your outfit and you get bonus points if yours keeps you warm, too. While we have a huge amount of respect for parkas (we live in Canada, after all), a belted coat offers a stylish closure and your options when it comes to style and pazazz are pretty much endless.

Here are 7 super chic belted coats that we can’t get enough of!

 Mad For Plaid

Eva Chen

Between Eva’s plaid belted coat with the fur trim, snakeskin boots, and cozy turtleneck, we honestly can’t get enough. Mixing prints is can be seen as risky but we love it when our style idols take risks and this is certainly a risk that’s paid off.

Matrix Vibes

Jill Lansky

Giving us the chicest Matrix vibes is our girl Jill. This outfit is perfect for the chillier temps and we’ve never seen a black trench look SO good. Add in a pair of tough combat boots, cute sunnies, and a cozy beanie and you’re good to go!

Check Please

Chrissy Rutherford

Back with another killer ensemble is Chrissy and we’re officially swooning for her belted coat seen here. You honestly can’t go wrong with a cute check print and in a full-length coat, it’s even better. The fact that Chrissy added on a leopard print bag knocks the lewk out of the park!

Camel Cute

Ellie of @SlipIntoStyle

A camel coat is timeless but add on some fringe, and you have yourself a clear winner. This lewk on Ellie is chic, minimal, and perfect for the weather we’re having. Plus, all her gold jewelry kicks it all up a notch.

Trench Twins

Olivia and Alice

These stylish twins have done it again and this time it’s their perfectly co-ordinated belted trenches that have caught our eye. Both Olivia and Alice have paired theirs with chunky black boots and a contrasting bag — we wish the pup could come with, too!

It’s Easy Being Green

Marianne Theodorsen

Who said you should stay away from bright colours and bold patterns come gloomy fall/winter? Certainly not us and definitely not Marianne. Between the pale green belted coat, leopard pants, and bright green shoes, this ensemble is wacky but in the chicest way!

Casual Cool

Pernille Rosenkilde

Perhaps the most relatable outfit of the bunch is this one on Pernille. This belted coat gives us the chicest pyjama vibes and her boots are trendy but work so well. We’re also giving her extra snaps for wearing a stylish mask, too!
