But, what if I told you about a coffee recipe that not only benefits your brain, focus and beauty, but could help you cut down on the amount of cups you consume in a day too? If you’re interested, let me introduce you to the little caffeinated miracle that is this Collagen Bulletproof Coffee recipe.
If you happen to be a health and wellness fanatic, as well as a coffee aficionado, there’s a good chance you’ve heard about Bulletproof Coffee–the high performance coffee drink that’s loved by athletes and CEOs around the globe for its direct impact on your energy and cognitive function. The classic Bulletproof coffee recipe most often includes Ghee, MCT Oil (also known as the “brain oil”) and a delicious cuppa quality joe.
Personally, my preferred method includes adding a dash of cinnamon for added yummy flavour (and multiple health benefits) as well as a scoop of collagen to benefit everything from your hair and nails to your gut. This recipe for Collagen Bulletproof Coffee is inspired by the one served at my favourite cafe/gym/workspace here in Toronto called BOLO.
In their version, the BOLO team uses collagen from the Good Goddess; a new nutrition-focused brand hailing from the the 6ix that they also sell in house. Since picking up a bag to try at home, I’ve been hooked on making Collagen Bulletproof Coffee EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING. As someone who can easily rip through three coffees before noon and still want one after lunch, I’ve been very pleasantly surprised to experience first-hand just how well one cup of this power coffee will get you set up for the rest of the day. Like seriously, one cup and I’m good.

Collagen Bulletproof Coffee Recipe
What You Need:
- 12 ounces of freshly brewed coffee
- 1 tablespoon of Grass-Fed Ghee
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of Fantastic Fat MCT Oil
- 1 scoop of Powderful Grass-Fed Collagen
- A pinch of cinnamon powder (or more to taste!)
What To Do:
- Combine all of the ingredients into a blender and blend together for up to 30 seconds (until it’s well-mixed and nice and frothy!) before pouring into a mug to enjoy. Sip and you’ll see the magic happen!
