Wake Me Up Coffee Smoothie Recipe

What You Need:

1 sliced and frozen banana (can also be nonfrozen)

Handful of ice

½ cup strong brewed coffee 120 mL, chilled

1/2 cup or 120 mL milk (any variety)

1/4 cup or 25 g rolled oats

1 spoon nut butter (optional)

Protein powder (optional)

What To Do:

Brew coffee.

Add in frozen banana (for natural sweetness and thick frostiness), oats, milk, and nut butter into a blender.

Blend until smooth and creamy.

Add more milk as necessary to reach a consistency to your liking.

Top with a sprinkle of chocolate, and serve immediately.
